Haunted Acres Florida
Website: https://hauntedacresflorida.com/
Haunted Acres Florida is a seasonal haunted attraction built around immersive scares, original characters, and a haunted trail experience. The brand already had a strong creative foundation: eerie visuals, costumed characters, opening night information, and an established Halloween atmosphere.
Our role was to take those existing ideas and assets and evolve them into promotional content that could build anticipation, expand the attraction’s story, and drive attention across social platforms leading up to opening night.
Project Goal
The goal of the project was to show how Haunted Acres Florida’s existing creative material could be transformed into dynamic, story-driven content.
Rather than simply promoting dates and event details, we wanted the content to make the brand feel alive. Each deliverable was designed to help viewers experience a piece of the attraction before arriving in person — whether through a short horror-style story, character introductions, countdown reels, or collectible-style character graphics.
The project demonstrated how client-provided ideas, photos, videos, and audio could be shaped into content that pushed the brand’s story forward.
Phase One: Proof of Concept
What We Received
Before the full campaign began, we started with a simple proof of concept using content already available on the Haunted Acres Florida website.
We took:
- A character from the homepage
- Opening day haunted trail information
These assets gave us a starting point to explore how AI and editing could bring the attraction’s existing identity to life.
What We Returned
We created a 10-second AI-assisted promotional video using the character and event information.
The short video turned a static website character into an animated promotional piece, giving the client a first look at how their existing brand assets could become motion-based content.
How We Made It
We used AI to animate the character and then edited the movement to act in rhythm with the background music. The timing of the edit helped the video feel intentional, stylized, and more engaging than a simple animated asset.
This proof of concept helped establish the creative direction for the full campaign: use Haunted Acres’ existing characters, imagery, and event information as the foundation for short-form content that felt atmospheric, branded, and ready for social media.

Phase Two: Campaign Planning
September Strategy Meeting
After the proof of concept, we met briefly with the client to discuss the direction of the campaign and what types of content would be most useful leading up to the attraction’s opening.
Together, we decided on a package of deliverables that would promote the event from multiple angles: storytelling, character promotion, countdown content, website updates, and social media distribution.
What We Decided to Make
The campaign included:
-
Two 30-second videos
- One short story-style commercial
- One character-focused video highlighting some of the attraction’s featured characters
-
Three 15-second reels
- A 10-day countdown video
- A 5-day countdown video
- A day-of opening announcement video
-
Trading card-styled character images
- One image for each character
- Each card included the character’s name and a stylized border
-
Website updates
- Edits to the current Haunted Acres website to reflect the current year
- Character cards and bios added to the site
This gave the campaign a clear structure: introduce the experience, spotlight the characters, create anticipation, and make sure the website and social channels were aligned for opening night.
Phase Three: Week 1 — Story Video
Creating a 30-Second Commercial Experience
What We Received
For the first major piece of campaign content, the client provided:
- One usable video
- A few photos
The available material was limited, but it contained enough visual information to begin building a short narrative.
What We Returned
We created a 30-second story-style commercial that placed the viewer in the point of view of a girl running through the woods before entering the haunted event.
Instead of making a standard promotional video, we approached this piece like a mini horror sequence. The goal was to make the viewer feel like they were being pulled into the Haunted Acres experience.
The final video created a sense of movement, urgency, and suspense while introducing the attraction as the destination at the end of the sequence.
How We Made It
To create the video, we used a combination of AI generation and traditional editing.
The process included:
- Using AI to turn still photos into moving video clips
- Building a POV-style sequence from the limited assets provided
- Editing the footage into a clear beginning, middle, and end
- Syncing the visuals to music to create tension and pacing
- Shaping the final piece into a 30-second commercial format
This phase showed how even a small amount of client-provided content could be developed into a more complete brand moment. A few photos and one usable video became a short, story-driven commercial that gave audiences a preview of the Haunted Acres atmosphere.

Phase Four: Week 2 — Character Video and Trading Cards
Bringing the Attraction’s Characters Forward
What We Received
During the second week, the client provided:
- An image of each character
- A video of each character
These assets allowed us to shift from general event promotion into character-focused storytelling.
What We Returned
We created two major deliverables during this phase:
- A 30-second character video
- Trading card-styled images for each character
The character video introduced several of the haunted attraction’s featured characters in a fast, engaging format. It was designed to give audiences a closer look at the personalities and visual identities that make up the Haunted Acres experience.
The trading card images presented each character as part of a larger world. Each card included the character’s image, name, and a designed border. These graphics helped turn the cast of characters into collectible, shareable brand assets.
The trading cards were also added to the Haunted Acres website, along with short bios for each character.
How We Made It
For the 30-second character video, we used the client-provided character videos and edited them to music. The goal was to create energy, rhythm, and anticipation while giving each character a moment on screen.
For the trading cards, we took each character photo and built a consistent visual treatment around it. This included:
- Adding a card-style border
- Formatting the image for a collectible look
- Adjusting the name on each individual card
- Keeping the overall style consistent across the full character set
This phase expanded the brand story by making the characters feel like part of a larger Haunted Acres universe. Rather than existing only as costumes or images, they became recognizable figures with names, identities, and a place within the attraction’s digital presence.
Phase Five: Week 3 — Countdown Reels
Creating Urgency Before Opening Night
What We Received
In the third week, the client provided:
- Additional video of characters
- Audio from radio ads they were currently running
This gave us the opportunity to connect their existing advertising efforts with their social media content.
What We Returned
We created:
-
Two countdown reels
- One counting down 10 days before opening
- One counting down 5 days before opening
-
One high-energy opening day video
- A day-of announcement to promote the attraction’s opening
The countdown reels used the radio ad audio as the foundation and added visuals to support the message. This helped repurpose existing audio into social-first video content.
The final day-of video borrowed clips from previous videos and turned them into a high-energy wrap-up announcement for opening day. It served as the final promotional push before visitors arrived.
How We Made It
For the countdown reels, we matched visuals to the radio ad audio and added countdown messaging to create urgency. The videos were designed to feel like part of the same campaign while still giving each countdown post a specific purpose.
The opening day video was created by pulling clips from earlier pieces and re-editing them into a fast-paced, energetic announcement. This allowed us to get more value out of the content already created while giving the client a fresh post for opening day.
This phase helped build momentum and gave the audience repeated reminders as the event approached.
Phase Six: Website and Social Distribution
Publishing the Campaign Across Platforms
After creating the videos, trading cards, and requested posts, we gained access to Haunted Acres Florida’s digital platforms, including:
- YouTube
- TikTok
We uploaded and distributed the campaign content across these channels.
Cross-Platform Posting Strategy
The trading card photos were intentionally scattered across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook rather than posting the same full set everywhere at once.
This encouraged viewers to visit the attraction’s other social media pages to see more characters and content. The strategy helped turn the character cards into a cross-platform engagement tool, encouraging audiences to move between channels and interact with the brand in multiple places.
Website Updates
We also made edits to the current Haunted Acres website to reflect the current year and support the campaign. The character trading cards and short bios were added to the website, helping create a more complete digital home for the attraction’s story.
This made the website more aligned with the social campaign and gave visitors a place to learn more about the characters they saw in posts and videos.
Collaboration and Scope Expansion
Throughout the project, the client approved all deliverables. As the campaign developed, the scope expanded over time, allowing us to create additional content and support more areas of the promotion.
The process remained collaborative and flexible. As new assets were provided — photos, videos, character footage, and radio ad audio — we adapted them into content that fit the larger campaign structure.
Each new piece of content built on the previous one:
- The proof of concept established the creative potential
- The story video introduced the haunted experience
- The character video highlighted the attraction’s cast
- The trading cards gave the characters a branded identity
- The countdown reels created urgency
- The website and social posts connected the full campaign across platforms
Outcome
The campaign helped Haunted Acres Florida receive strong online publicity, especially on Facebook.
By combining AI-generated motion, video editing, music syncing, character design, countdown messaging, and cross-platform posting, the campaign gave the client a more active and engaging digital presence leading up to opening night.
Opening night went well, and the client’s expanded online presence helped support awareness and excitement around the event.
Most importantly, the project showed how a client’s existing materials could be transformed into a cohesive storytelling campaign. What began as website assets, scattered photos, videos, and radio ad audio became a full promotional rollout that brought the Haunted Acres Florida brand to life across web and social media.
